To the right is an original song I wrote called Butterfly. I wrote it when I was sitting in a restaurant in Hawaii called the Bull Shed. I looked out the window, it was night time and beautiful outside, I saw a pier that was rundown and old. In the moonlight it still looked stunningly beautiful, and the lyrics began flowing through me in that moment. I grabbed a napkin and started writing down what came into my head. A year later I wrote my song Butterfly and finished the piano for it as well. This song has meaning to me like no other song has had to me before. I can relate to it on a very personal level and wrote exactly what was going on in my life to share with the world to let others know that they aren't alone in certain thoughts and feelings. I also have a couple of other covers on my Youtube channel including the song I wrote at 15 called "A Little Longer." I plan to do more covers for the future and eventually post the video of my husband and I singing our wedding song to eachother!
